1.
First,
your property is inspected for signs of termites.
2.
Then,
Sentricon stations are placed in the soil around
your structure. Where a building is edged with
concrete sidewalks, driveways or parking lots,
a concrete coring device may be used to place
the stations.
3.
The
stations are checked regularly for termite activity.
4.
When
termites are found in one or more stations, they
are transferred to a Baitube* device containing
Recruit* IV termite bait. The device containing
the termites is then placed back in those stations.
5.
The
captured termites feed on Recruit IV, tunnel out
and send other colony nestmates back to feed on
the bait. As they do so, the colony starts to
decline and will eventually be eliminated.
6.
After
a colony has been eliminated, the bait is replaced
with new monitoring devices. Your pest control
professional will continue to inspect these to
discover any new colonies that might invade your
property.
