Here are some helpful tips on how to avoid getting bit.

• Wear light colored clothing preferably with long sleeves. There are clothes that are treated with repellent
• Use mosquito repellent with DEET. OFF Outdoors has the highest concentration of DEET.
• If you don’t have to be outdoors at dawn or dusk, don’t. That’s when mosquitoes are most active.
• Check around the house for areas of standing water, even a little bit can be an oasis for them.
